Our crochet-inspired yarn ball candles featured in Simply Crochet magazine’s Hooked news pages as part of the Fab Finds gift section (Issue 171). Inspired by the cosy textures of crochet and wool, these candles are designed to look like soft yarn balls while creating a warm, hygge glow when lit.
Being included in a magazine that celebrates creativity and handmade design means so much to us, especially as a small, independent candle studio based in North Wales. It was a real honour to have our work recognised alongside so many talented makers.

Welcome to Curiosity Candles – a small, independent candle studio creating uniquely shaped, hand-poured candles in North Wales.
What began in September 2023 as a side hobby alongside my full-time job has grown into something far more meaningful. After becoming unwell with Long Covid and chronic fatigue, this business became a lifeline. By adapting how I work, I’ve been able to continue creating at my own pace – bringing comfort, curiosity, and happiness to both myself and others.
Each candle is made with care, curiosity, and a love for thoughtful design.
